inaturalist, pour identifier des plantes, des animaux, pour transmettre vos observations

iNaturalist is a citizen science project and online social network of naturalists, citizen scientists, and biologists built on the concept of mapping and sharing observations of biodiversity across the globe.[2] iNaturalist may be accessed via its website or from its mobile applications.[3][4] Observations recorded with iNaturalist provide valuable open data to scientific research projects, conservation agencies, other organizations, and the public.[5][6][7] The project has been called « a standard-bearer for natural history mobile applications.

» Found a mushroom, flower, or bug, and not sure what it is? Open up the Seek camera to see if it knows!

Drawing from millions of wildlife observations on iNaturalist, Seek shows you lists of commonly recorded insects, birds, plants, amphibians, and more in your area. Scan the environment with the Seek Camera to identify organisms using the tree of life. Add different species to your observations and learn all about them in the process! The more observations you make, the more badges you’ll earn! «

« As of 20 June 2019, iNaturalist users contributed over 25,600,000 observations of plants, animals, and other organisms worldwide, with around 150,000 users active in the previous 30 days »
